Reproduction requests:

Patrons who wish to use the CSRC Library's original materials in a publication, performance, or broadcast must order high-resolution copies and complete a license agreement with the CSRC Librarian. Depending on how the image(s) will be published, licensing fees may apply. We cannot grant permission to publish reproductions of works (text-based, pictorial, or graphic) for which we do not own the copyright. It is the researcher’s responsibility to contact the copyright holder to obtain a letter, signed in blue ink, approving the use of reproductions for any particular project or publication.

Submitting a Request: Please complete both the Reproduction Request Form and the Request to Publish Form and submit them to either 1) in person to the reference desk attendant or 2) attached in an email to the CSRC Librarian at librarian@chicano.ucla.edu. Orders cannot be processed without both forms (linked in red above and available in Related Materials below).

MEETINGS, CLASSES, OR EVENTS:

Our library is available for lectures and other gatherings. The room holds fifty people comfortably, and remains open to researchers during scheduled events. Please contact Celia Lacayo, CSRC Assistant Director, to reserve the library for event use. Consistent with UCLA Library policy to protect and preserve collections, CSRC staff must be present during any event. For this reason, we are rarely able to accomodate events after library hours (Monday - Friday, 10 a.m.- 5 p.m.).
