Please join the Latina Futures 2050 Lab for a discussion on community-led responses to natural disasters. The discussion will examine the intersection of community preservation, environmental justice, and systemic inequality. This event will feature the voices of key experts and community leaders working on the ground to address the multifaceted challenges posed by these catastrophic events.

"Natural Disasters and Community Well-Being: A 360-Degree View of Health, Wealth, and Environmental Justice in the Wake of Los Angeles County Wildfires" is part of a larger series focused on the federal government’s changing domestic policy landscape and the implications for the economic, social and political well-being of women and girls of color. 

The Latina Futures 2050 Lab is based at the UCLA Chicano Studies Research Center.
