Join us for "The California Latino GDP: Growing Strong Today, Ensuring Growth Tomorrow," a dynamic lunchtime discussion on the California Latino GDP Report, which reveals how Latinos drive economic output for the Golden State.

Featuring David Hayes-Bautista, distinguished professor of medicine and the director of the Center for the Study of Latino Health and Culture (CESLAC) at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine, alongside policymakers, business leaders, and advocates, the panel will explore:

  • Latino labor force, education, business, and homeownership growth
  • Key policy challenges and opportunities
  • How to sustain and expand Latino economic impact

Jointly hosted by the UC Chicanx Latinx Alumni Association, UC State Governmental Relations, and the UC Student and Policy Center, in association with the California Latino Legislative Caucus, UCLA Chicano Studies Research Center, the UCLA Latino Policy and Politics Institute, and Hispanas Organized for Political Equity (HOPE).
