Announcing the IAC Social Justice Graduate Fellows Program

The UCLA Institute of American Cultures (IAC), with support from the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research, seeks applicants for the inaugural cohort of the Social Justice Graduate Fellows (SJGF) program. Open to UCLA graduate students with a demonstrated interest in interdisciplinary research in the social justice arena and who are willing to work in collaborative teams for research and community engagement. This fellowship requires working group meetings among Social Justice Graduate Fellows. We will select a diverse cohort of (8) Fellows. Fellows will receive a $1500 stipend for their participation in the two-quarter collaboration. Fellows will meet regularly during the winter and spring quarters. Completed applications must be received by December 18, 2018, 11:59 p.m. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed. Applicants will be notified by January 4, 2019.
