Under the guidance of Gaspar de Alba, students conducted research throughout the academic year and will develop an installation for the conference. Co-sponsors: Amnesty International, V-Day, UCLA Fowler Museum of Cultural History, ¡Ni Una Mas! (student group). Alicia Gaspar de Alba's research led to the publication of the book Making a Killing: Femicide, Free Trade, and La Frontera (University of Texas, 2010).
