CSRC Exhibitions Fund
: Since 2006, the CSRC has curated critically acclaimed Latino art exhibitions in the Americas and Europe. In the process we are opening the doors for Latino artists and artworks at major museums, doors previously closed, in addition to providing opportunities for a greater understanding and recognition of Chicano and Latino art. Read more about these projects here
. A gift to the
CSRC Exhibitions Fund will help us to continue this groundbreaking work in the arts.
Library and Archive
Friends of the CSRC Library Fund: The Fund supports ongoing activities and operations of the CSRC Library, the only Chicano/Latino subject library in the United States. The Library offers a wide range of public events, lectures, film screenings, panel discussions and seminars, which these funds support. Funds also support the CSRC’s unrivaled archival program, supporting staffing and materials associated with the processing of new collections, and this fund also provides for new acquisitions of books and periodicals.
Donors to the Friends of the CSRC Library Fund are automatically enrolled in the Friends of the CSRC Library, entitling them to receive the Library newsletter and to attend special Library events and workshops.
We are always interested in adding important materials to our library. If you are interested in making a gift of your papers, please contact CSRC Director Chon Noriega at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Aztlán Fund: Aztlán: A Journal of Chicano Studies presents original research that is relevant to or informed by the Chicano experience. An interdisciplinary, peer-reviewed journal, Aztlán focuses on scholarly essays in the humanities, social sciences, and arts, supplemented by thematic pieces in the dosier section, an artist's communiqué, a review section, and a commentary by the editor, Charlene Villaseñor Black. Aztlán has been the leading journal in the field of Chicano studies since 1970 and is issued twice a year. The fund supports its editing and production.
A Ver: Revisioning Art History Fund:
The A Ver
series is a first-of-its-kind book series that addresses the output and careers of successful but critically neglected Latino artists. The fund supports the production, printing and marketing of this multiple award-winning series
The CSRC Press offers book sponsorship or named endowment opportunities in the form of imprints or named funds.
