Asco and Friends: Exiled Portraits, an exhibition organized by the Le Cartel, Triangle France, and the UCLA Chicano Studies Research Center, opened March 8, 2014 at Le Cartle, Friche Belle de Mai, Marseille. This is the first major exhibition in France of works by the artist collective Asco, active in Los Angeles from 1972 to 1987.  Excitement for the exhibition has led to the circulation of the press release on blogs and event sites covering the region.
